- Biography
- The Yummy Fur were an art rock/indie rock band which formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1992. The band's only constant member was singer/guitarist John McKeown. After the band split in 1999, McKeown drifted through several short lived bands before forming the successful indie rock band 1990s in 2006, and two former members - Paul Thomson and Alex Kapranos - formed the popular alternative rock band Franz Ferdinand. In 2009, it was announced that John McKeown, Paul Thomson and Brian McDougall would reunite The Yummy Fur for a brief tour in 2010.
