- Biography
- The Dears is an indie rock band which formed in 1995 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The band currently consists of Murray Lightburn (vocals, guitar, bass), Natalia Yanchak (keyboards, vocals) and Jeff Luciani (drums). Lightburn and Yanchak, who have been married since 2005, are the only consistent members of the band. The Dears' most recent album, "Times Infinity Volume Two", was released in 2017. Without even seeing a performance by The Dears it was easy to recognize the group in Montreal's haunts in the late nineties.
