- Sugar Tampaxxx was an argentine indie rock band formed sometime between January and February of 1996 with no other purpose other than to experiment with music. After an unsteady career and line up changes the band split in may 2003 with Sol Shurman (voice, guitar) as the original member. Sugar tampaxxx made an urgent, yet dense and intense type of lo-fi punk with grunge and noise rock undertones including very catchy guitar melodies that could bring Sleater-Kinney to mind.
