- Heavy Stereo were a band featuring later-to-become Oasis rhythm guitarist Gem Archer (and current Beady Eye Rhythm guitarist) as the lead vocalist and main songwriter. The group released one studio album in 1996 titled “Déjà Voodoo” and had such hits as “Chinese Burn”, “Cartoon Moon”, “Crown Of Thoughts” and “Shooting Star”. They also recorded a cover of the Jam song “The Gift”. Since Gem joined Oasis, the band has been inactive.
