- H.C. McEntire (Heather McEntire, born in Green Creek, NC) is an American musician, songwriter, performer, writer, singer, guitarist, collaborator, and producer living in Durham, NC. She is the frontwoman of American folk band Mount Moriah. McEntire started playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 18, and moved to Chapel Hill in 2003 after college. She has played with, or does play with, and writes songs for Bellafea, Mount Moriah, and Un Deux Trois.
