- Nantucket formed in North Carolina and became a huge success in the southeast as a original band and eventually became a powerful and tenacious sensation, amassing thousands of fans in America, Europe and Japan. The band signed with Epic Records and released its self-titled album in 1978, featuring the AOR hit single “Heartbreaker”. This album sold well over 200,000 copies and also made the Billboard charts. This first album can stand on its own merit as a Nantucket Greatest Hits package with classics such as
