- Merkfolk is a Polish folk-metal band with female growl. The band originated at the beginning of 2013, initiated by the siblings: Irmina and Rafał. After a few months of searching, the band finally came together and at the end of November they played their first concert. In July 2014 the bassist was changed. A year later they released their first full length album ‘The Folk Bringer’.
