- There are at least four acts that go by the name of Giant. 1) An American aor/hard rock band that was formed in 1987 by brothers Dann and David Huff. The band had one hit single with its power ballad I'll See You In My Dreams. They disbanded in the early 90's after two studio albums. Dann Huff revived the Giant name in 2001 with the album entitled, "III". Dann is a high-demand session player and producer in Nashville who has worked with many artists from Faith Hill to Megadeth.
